Bible Reading is Unique.

Reading the Bible is the most important thing you can do. By reading though, we mean more than just looking at the words, and saying them out loud or to yourself. Reading the bible includes studying it, meditating on it, and putting it into practice.

What does God say about the bible?

• Ps 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
• Joh 17:6-8 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

What it means for you.

Because Christ is the Bible made into a person -- i.e. the Word made flesh, knowing Christ, to us, very much means knowing the Bible. So for a Christian, Bible study is one of the most important things to do. If you read the Bible believing what it says, you can expect to be changed for the better.
